I'll be happy to get back with you just as soon as I receive it. At First United Methodist Church of Trenton we really do care about you and your family. We are beginning so many new and exciting ministries - and we are growing day by day in our discipleship and spiritual life. We hope that you join us for worship soon, or if you cannot make it to worship, please check out our podcasts and sermon downloads, available through the links above. We also invite you to take part in our ongoing discussion boards where we want to engage everyone we can in theological conversation and feed your spirit. Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest." We believe that that invitation is as real today as it was 2,000 years ago. The fact is, in our rapidly changing world, rest is becoming more and more of a luxury. We want you to come and rest in God's presence with us during worship - and then, renewed by the Spirit of God - go with us into the world to serve others and share God's love and grace. In addition, I want to encourage you to either attend worship regularly, beginning January 14, as I begin a new sermon series on "God's Answers to Life's Toughest Questions." These biblical and relevant messages will be available via our podcast, but nothing beats hearing it live! So please be sure to come on January 14 when we begin. We will have some very special guests with us on this Sunday, and we'll even be sure to have some food for our first Fellowship Meal for 2007. So come, bring the whole family, and let's have a good time learning from God's Word. |
